MaSx Vault ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the MaSx Vault mobile application and related services.

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Authentication credentials managed through Firebase Authentication

This information is used solely to create and manage your account.

1.2 User Content

MaSx Vault allows you to store personal content, including:

  • Photos

  • Videos

  • Documents

  • Notes

  • Contacts

This content is:

  • Stored locally on your device

  • Optionally backed up to cloud storage using Firebase Storage if you choose to use backup features

We do not access, view, sell, or share your content except when necessary to provide technical support and only with your explicit consent.

1.3 Usage Data

We may collect limited technical information, including:

  • Device type

  • Operating system version

  • App performance data

  • Crash reports

  • Diagnostic information

This information helps us improve app reliability, performance, and user experience.

1.4 Advertising Data (Free Version Only)

If you use the free version of MaSx Vault, advertisements may be displayed through Google AdMob.

Advertising providers may collect:

  • Device identifiers

  • Advertising ID

  • Ad interaction data

This information is handled by Google in accordance with its own privacy policies.

Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.

1.5 Location Information

Certain disguise mode features, such as Weather Mode, may request access to your device's approximate location.

Location information is used solely to display relevant weather information within the app.

We do not use location information for advertising, profiling, or tracking purposes.

You may deny or revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.

1.6 Security Features

MaSx Vault includes optional privacy and security features such as:

  • PIN protection

  • Biometric authentication

  • Disguise Modes

  • Decoy Vault

  • Intruder Log

If Intruder Log is enabled, the app may record information relating to failed unlock attempts, including timestamps and photos captured by the device camera.

This information is stored only for the operation of the feature and is not shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the app

  • Authenticate user accounts

  • Enable cloud backup and restore functionality

  • Deliver optional security features

  • Improve app performance and reliability

  • Provide customer support

  • Display advertisements for free users

  • Process premium subscription access

3. Cloud Services

MaSx Vault uses Google Firebase services, including:

  • Firebase Authentication (account management)

  • Firebase Storage (cloud backup and restore)

  • Firebase Firestore (account and subscription management)

Your information may be processed and stored on secure Google servers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Premium Subscriptions

MaSx Vault offers optional premium subscriptions through Google Play Billing.

Subscription payments are processed directly by Google.

We do not receive, process, or store your payment card information.

Subscription management, billing, and cancellations are handled through your Google Play account.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to help protect your information, including:

  • Secure account authentication

  • Private app storage

  • PIN protection

  • Biometric authentication

  • Access controls for cloud services

While we strive to protect your information, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information

  • Request deletion of your account

  • Request deletion of cloud-stored data

  • Disable cloud backup functionality

  • Revoke permissions previously granted to the app

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data by:

  • Using the in-app account deletion feature (if available), or

  • Contacting us using the email address below

Upon deletion:

  • Your account will be permanently removed

  • Associated cloud data will be deleted

  • Active subscriptions must be managed separately through Google Play

Deleted data cannot be recovered.

8. Third-Party Services

MaSx Vault relies on third-party services that may process information on our behalf, including:

  • Google Firebase

  • Google AdMob

  • Google Play Billing

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

9. Children's Privacy

MaSx Vault is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
